About the Team
Reis Pearson, owner of Inside Out Building Inspection Inc., brings a valuable blend of experience and education to her work as a licensed home inspector. Her passion and talent for renovating older homes naturally led to a residential construction career, where for nearly five years she learned the anatomy of a healthy home inside and out.
The Master’s in Education Reis secured from Iowa State inspired her to become a new breed of licensed home inspector; one who could properly teach homeowners how to maintain their biggest investment. This coaching component quickly set Reis apart from most other home inspectors, and moved Inside Out Building Inspection to the forefront of the Puget Sound real estate market.
Reis maintains her certifications as a home inspector and structural pest inspector with hundreds of on-site inspections and a minimum of 20 hours of continued education per year. She can spot defects that are invisible to the average eye and help homeowners prevent many potentially hazardous and/or costly problems from getting worse.
Reis grew up in Maple Valley, Washington. For the past ten years, she has called West Seattle home. When she’s not remodeling homes in her spare time, Reis enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

While military service can prepare a soldier for a variety of professions, military construction experience prepared Kelli Dixon to take on Seattle’s most demanding commercial and residential inspections. Kelli has worked as a quality control and construction supervisor on a wide variety of military design/build projects, including more than $130 million in various projects at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington, a new brigade office complex at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, and a four story parking structure at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
For close to a decade prior, Kelli worked with M.A. Mortenson Construction on projects that met demanding military regulations, strict city codes, and LEED green building standards. Beyond military projects, she worked on a wide variety of Mortenson projects, including: a condominium tower, commercial buildings, a college laboratory, and even a new emergency services building addition to Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA.
This expertise allows Kelli to inspect structures all the way to the bones. She can spot common mistakes and dubious patches while identifying causes for mold, mildew, foundation cracks and other potentially costly repairs.
Kelli carries a Bachelor’s in Business Management degree from University of Phoenix and an architecture design drafter certificate from Silicon Valley College. She is an ICC Commercial Building Inspector. Kelli also earned prestigious LEED AP credentials from the US Green Building Council.
Kelli enjoys free time with friends and family. When she’s not at Mariners, Storm and Seahawks games; she’s likely photographing places around the city or cruising from Alki to the Cascades on her motorcycle.
